Every 2nd Monday, 6pm-8pm
Springwood Drum Class
with Sibo Bangoura
Every 2nd Monday, 6pm – 8pm
@ Murrungundie, Springwood
If you’re ready to take your drumming to the next level, this class will be perfect for you. Sibo is a wonderfully supportive and encouraging drum teacher, originally from Guinea, in West Africa. Sibo was born into a Griot family, meaning his family have been musicians, dancers and storytellers for generations. This class is a wonderful opportunity to study with a master musician and a super lovely guy.
If you’re curious to come along and try it out, please don’t be shy. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Sometimes Sibo runs Dun Dun Dance classes in this time-slot. This is usually in the warmer months, when we can hold the class outside.
Participants can attend casually or regularly.
$25 (includes drum hire, if required).
Pay in cash to Sibo on the night.
Sibo is in Africa for Term 1, 2018.
This class will resume in May, 2018 – exact dates TBA.
